We are always in search of an amazing cup of coffee. It can be an almost religious experience, especially after working a few late nights in a row. Why is it that Starbucks consistently comes up short? Somewhere between the music for sale, French pastries, and triple way-too-much sugar lattes served in venti fishbowls, Starbucks lost its core focus; a great cup of coffee. That’s why we are totally inspired by Stumptown Coffee. Their mission is well- defined and their product is amazing. “Stumptown was started with the goal of doing things differently, with a vision that’s always been a little left-of-center, and with the focus squarely on quality.” What they don’t have are giant sizes, drive-through service, and flashy signage. What they do have is a devoted following and lines that stretch out the door. Sometimes the big idea is keeping things simple, pure, and served up hot. #inspiration
